Oh me!

I haven't been posting any of the neat stuff I've been making and that's a shame, because some of its really cute! But tomorrow...or more like today since its 12am..... i am going to post a lot of stuff like all the cards I've made and then some train wreak pictures of cards that were a better idea in my head than how they turned out. And I have a great idea in my head of a circus box-thing-ish-magiger. BUT! I'm not sure how soon this will be brought in the the physical world some time soon! I hope.... Anyway! Cant wait to show everyone what ive been up to!

Challenge # 5 @ Amber's Crafts and Stuff (Animal Train)

Come on board the Animal Train!
Come on everyone!

This card was Inspired by two things.
1. An ad the fell out of a free sample of the Omni pod that I got this past weekend. This gave me the idea for the shape.
2. A toy the was given to my moms best friends son Henry called...You guessed it...The Animal Train.

Its almost his Birthday and he will be 3. So he's not going to care much about this card or whats on it because well......he's three

Animals are my favorite things.
All types of animals.
But my FAVORITE are giraffes so i had to put one on there=).
I hope you enjoy!

Challenge # 3 @ Amber's Crafts and Stuff

This week we were challenged to use Flowers!

My mom got this box at Goodwill for $1.  It had some weird Alice in Wonderland print on it.

I tried to paint it originally with acrylic craft paint, but it was scratching off when I tried to paint the second coat.

So I decided to spray paint it instead.

I didn't take any in progress type pictures.  But here is the finished product:

Challenge # 2 @ Amber's Crafts and Stuff (I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings)

This week we were challenged to use die cuts.

Since I have recently fallen deeply in love with my mom's cricut,
I used it to make this thank you card.

I used a pretty blue pre-made card base.

I used the cricut to cut the bird, the cage, the "thank you".

The circle I cut out myself with my mother's manual  circle cutter

I used my favorite tool - the corner rounder for the card edges.
(I have a problem with corner rounding. Mostly photographs.)

Behind the circle I used a paper doiley that I pulled off
a craft I made with the sunday school class that I help out with at church.

"By the way, Bailey, Mrs. Flowers sent you some tea cookies."

Once upon a time

Now the apple had been so artfully made that only the red half was poisoned. Snow-White longed for the beautiful apple, and when she saw that the peasant woman was eating part of it she could no longer resist, and she stuck her hand out and took the poisoned half. She barely had a bite in her mouth when she fell to the ground dead.

I made this car last night, because i was staring at my moms cricut and was like....LIGHTBULB. I thought it was super cute and simple and thought most people would get my reference and if not..thats why i posted part of the snow white story above the picture=) Enjoy

Challenge # 1 - STASH BUSTER/ANYTHING GOES

At Amber's Crafts and Stuff we are having our first challenge today.

Check it out HERE!

Here is the card that I created for the challenge, but as my mom was taking it to work today she spilled her cereal and guess what it got all over...MY CARD!

So instead, I am posting this as my design team submission for this week.

I made a card and a matching layout with birds, apples, and flowers on a tree.

Here is the card.

I cut everything out with my mom's Cricut.
It was the first time I used it without her being there to do it all for me.

Here is the layout, I added an owl to this one, but the card was too small for the owl to cut properly.

I used some paper that has been in our 12" x 12" paper carrier since my mom started scrapbooking back when I was about 9.

I entered this in the challenge at:
